7/12/06  A unique collection 74 home cartridges was recently acquired and is currently in transit by FedEx Ground.  Some of these carts have not been available through the NeoStore for several years and there could be carts from this lot on your want list.

5/13/06  A large restock of new shock boxes arrived today.  These cases are the revised black version. Shock boxes are the best available option for storage and display of your MVS cartridges.

4/27/06  The remaining supply of the {60} Super MVS Convertor II arrived today.  Also, the 32 piece Japanese AES collection that was mentioned on the coming soon page has arrived.  Items from this collection will be carefully graded and listed over the next few days.

4/24/06  Introducing the new Super MVS Convertor II.  Finally a converter that works with all MVS cartridges, including those where the Phantom-1 failed such as Metal Slug 5, KoF 2003, and SVC Chaos. The Super MVS Convertor II has a casing that will conveniently guide your MVS cartridge securely into place and the base of the converter plugs into your AES as smooth as you could expect from an actual home cart.  Now available in limited quantities for $279.99.

1/24/06  A factory sealed case (12 pieces) of unfixed Samurai Shodown V Special home carts was discovered to still be in stock.  Apparently this case was never returned to Japan for reprogramming and was misplaced with the fixed cases for some time.  This is the last known supply of brand new original version SSVS AES.

12/12/05  A limited supply of the official NEO·GEO Lapel Badges was recently acquired.  They all appear to be in brand new pristine condition and are still factory sealed within their original baggies.  Priced at a reasonable $2.50 each.

9/26/05 A collection of English version home cartridges was obtained and most of these items have already been listed on the English Home Carts section. Some of these games have not been available in English version through the NeoStore for literally 2 years.

Also, an assortment of home cartridge systems have been listed. As these systems sell, you can expect similarly configured systems to be re-listed.

FYI, the stock displayed on the Coming Soon page was partially received from the supplier !Arcade! from Canada. The expected arrival for the balance of the remaining systems, the new AES systems, joystick extension cables, etc., remains unknown at this time.

5/12/05  For the next week or so the NeoStore's online stock will be heavily replenished. Today (Thursday) the English version home cartridge selection is being restocked. Friday the 13th (oooh), the Japanese version home cartridge selection will be restocked. Saturday, then MVS section will be restocked, and every day following a remaining section will be focused for restocking.

Check out the new listings periodically for updates, as many of these items (especially certain home cartridges) will be limited in availability to only 1 piece and may not be available again for some time.

4/02/05  The shopping cart system is ready now.  In order to correct a hardware issue, the site was moved to an entirely new server, and this required more time to complete than originally expected. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

THEY'RE FIXED! 10/20/04  The reprogrammed Samurai Shodown V Special home cartridge shipment arrived today and so far the cartridges & cartridge stickers appear to have been returned in top condition. All recall carts were shipped same day from Memphis to their owners by 2-3 day priority mail for USA & 3-5 day FedEx Economy outside USA.

Freebie: SNK Playmore is providing a bonus item for each recall cartridge, a KoF 10th anniversary cell phone wrist wrap.

You should also note that SNK Playmore applied a small NeoGeo sticker to top right of each cartridge to signify the reprogrammed version.

8/18/04  Concerning the SSVS AES recall:  A couple more days will be allocated for last minute returns before shipping the load to Japan.  All shipping reimbursements will be processed before September 1st.  The estimated date for reshipment to owners is mid to late September.

  8/02/04  Recall announcement:  SNK Playmore has authorized a recall of all Samurai Shodown V Special (Samurai Spirits 0 Special) home cartridges. This recall will involve bug fixes and the addition of fatalities.  For full details please carefully review the recall instrucions page.

7/30/04  Samurai Shodown V Special home cartridges to be recalled for reprogramming.  Full details to be disclosed on the next business day, which is Monday, August 2nd.  Before taking any action, please wait for this upcoming announcement for complete return instructions.

7/20/04  Samurai Shodown V Special home carts (English & Japanese version) are currently on hold pending a decision from SNK Playmore on how to solve the censorship issue concerning the missing fatalities.  A resolution should be available within a few days.

7/09/04  The Samurai Shodown V Special (Samurai Spirits 0 Special) home cartridge release has arrived, six days earlier than expected. All preorders/orders shipping today.  New orders received before 9 PM CST will ship same day.

7/07/04  As of 11:20 PM CST: Just in from SNKP, the Samurai Shodown V Special AES production finished ahead of schedule!  Our complete supply was picked up by UPS approximately 1.5 hours ago from the factory in Osaka.  Earliest estimated delivery date via UPS Express is Friday, 10 AM CST, July 9th.  If there is a custom's delay, then we can expect delivery on the next  business day which is Monday, July 12th.

6/13/04  The insert design for the final home cartridge release is now available for public viewing!  This artwork is probably the best artwork provided from SNKP (comparable only with their recently released classic artworks).  Certainly serves as a grand release to conclude the longest supported home console.

Concerning the MEG count size of 708 for the fourth time:
You may have noticed that several of the previous home cart releases (MS5, SVC, SSV) also displayed 708 for MEG count.  This is because they all have 708 MEGs worth of ROM chips on board.  However, actual usage of these chips does vary.  For example, SSVS’s actual MEG count is 600+ with actual used MEG count naturally being > SSV.

5/19/04  Shopping cart system will be down for a while longer but you can still order through email, see order instructions above.  The NeoStore is undergoing some major behind the scene upgrades.  We will be moving to a new server yet again.  The hardware should be ready on May 21st and the shopping cart system will reopen early next week (appox. 2/13/04  Ever since the supply of NOS CD systems surfaced, our selection of CD software has been diminishing. Luckily, the Neo-Geo CD software section was heavily restocked today with over 30 additional unique titles. Also, after two months of being totally sold out, the MV-1C is finally back in stock.

2/01/04  Preorders for King of Fighters 2003 AES are now open. Release is just around the corner, scheduled for March 11th. The MSRP is ¥39,800 which is currently equivalent to $376.83 USD, according to current exchange rates. The NeoStore's retail price is set to only $359.

1/12/04  Preorders for KoF 2003 MVS PCB kits are now open for $685. Preorders will ship to all customers tomorrow, Tuesday, January 13th.

1/12/04  English Pochi and Nyaa MVS kits are now in stock. New low price of $299 per kit, preorder customers have already been issued a $46 refund. Order now for same day shipping.

1/10/04  Pochi and Nyaa update: According to FedEx tracking information, this shipment will arrive January 12, 2004 by 10:30 AM CST.
1/06/04 Pochi and Nyaa NeoGeo MVS kits to be in stock shortly. Preorders are now being accepted for $345. Shipment could arrive as early as January 15th, all preorders will ship same day of arrival. A more precise arrival date will be announced in the coming days.

1/03/04  We have begun offering several items from the NOS shipment. Just look for (NOS) in the item title, or use search engine. The cream of the crop will be offered first. The crushed, melted, sliced, and not so perfect copies will eventually be listed separately with discounted pricing.

12/31/03  The new in box CDZ and top loader CD systems are now in stock. They arrived in factory sealed cases and these systems are now 100% confirmed to be totally complete & brand spanking new in crisp minty fresh boxes. Keep in mind that the top loaders come with two new control pads, great deal!

Update: The 1276 piece NOS shipment arrived on 12/29/03. We are nearly finished with checking in this shipment and will begin offering this stock ASAP.

12/28/03  A nice supply of new/boxed Neo-Geo 2x CDZs and top loading CD systems recently surfaced @ SNK Playmore. We are accepting preorders at a reasonable $295 per CDZ and $195 per top loader. This 120 piece shipment is expected to arrive on Monday, December 29th via super fast UPS Express from Japan.

Also, the 1276 piece "new old stock galore shipment" is expected to arrive early this week. Please allow us a few days to uncrate and check in this shipment before listing on the NeoStore.

12/18/03  Preorders for Metal Slug 5 AES are now open. Release is scheduled for February 19th. The MSRP is ¥39,800 which is equivalent to 369.77 USD as of December 18th, according to current exchange rates. The NeoStore's retail price is set to only $349.

11/11/03  Good news! The SVC Chaos AES production is complete & was shipped from Japan today. The shipment is expected to arrive in Memphis on Thursday, Nov. 13th. We will of course make an exceptional effort to dispatch all EMS, DHL and FedEx orders same day.

10/30/03  The MVS cartridge release of SVC Chaos has been postponed to the 3rd week of November and preorders have been temporarily discontinued until our actual cost can be determined. Rest assured, all preorders that have been received thus far will be honored without a price increase.

10/23/03  The rumored release of a cartridge based SVC Chaos for MVS is now confirmed. Release is expected to be on November 4th, and this version will come with mini marquee.

10/01/03  The home release of SVC Chaos has been postponed to November 13th due to a parts delay. This is the largest home cart production in years and so more time is required than originally expected, our apologies for this inconvenience.

9/26/03  Samurai Shodown V (Samurai Spirits Zero) will be released for NeoGeo home cartridge on December 11th, 2003. You can expect pricing and preorder information to be available shortly after the release of SVC Chaos AES.

9/11/03  The official SVC Chaos English version insert is now available for public viewing. MEG count clocks in at 708, on par with the ever popular Metal Slug 3. It's also nice to see the new SNK logo back on the spine!
 

9/04//03 We have decided to honor a reasonable request from the forums. For two days only you can purchase a new English Metal Slug 4 home cart for only $235, the same low price that US MS3 hit. After tomorrow, the price will return to $249.

8/31//03  Attention Labor Day weekend shoppers: Same day shipping for all orders placed today (Sunday) before 10 PM CST. This same day shipping service also applies to orders placed on Labor Day (Monday, Sept 1st). All shipments will be taken directly to the Memphis International airport for expedited delivery. 7/26//03  All orders from July 22nd to present will be shipped today. Power is still out for 40% of Memphis (unfortunately this includes the Neo Store's location). However, we have temporarily relocated to a nearby city and are now capable of shipping all new orders within 24 hours.

7/22/03  70% of Memphis, TN is currently without power due to a major storm that hit this morning. 100mph winds uprooted countless trees which tore down power lines throughout the city (233 circuit breaks) & it could be days until utilities are restored. All orders placed before 2PM today have been shipped from the nearest operating Post Office (Arkansas). However, all orders placed after 2PM July 22nd will experience a shipping delay, possibly 2 to 3 days or until utilities are restored.

10/8/02  The remaining 250 RotD t-shirts along with additional promotional items could not be shipped directly from Hong Kong to USA due to restrictions imposed by US Customs. Instead, shipment was rerouted to Italy to be reshipped to USA. View tracking.

9/26/02  A small shipment of 50 RotD t-shirts managed to evade US Customs. Option #3 orders to be shipped first, remaining shirts to go to option #1 customers. The other 250 shirts are not expected until early October now. US Customs enforced some obscure law against importing large quantities of promotional t-shirts from Hong Kong.

9/20/02  The RotD home carts are now in stock! However, the RotD t-shirts are not expected to arrive until the end of Sept. Preorder customers were provided with 4 shipping options for the t-shirt. New orders between now and t-shirt arrival will be provided with these same 4 shipping options as well.

9/18/02  The RotD home cart production was completed ahead of schedule. The shipment left Japan via UPS Express this morning and is already with U.S. customs in Alaska. To be safe, the release date was moved to 9/20.

8/06/02  More good news. Official Rage of the Dragons t-shirts will be arriving soon. In addition to the posters & flyers, these shirts will also be given to all preorder customers upon release of RotD AES.
