US METAL SLUG 3 FAQ

How many preorders must you accumulate before you place the order with SNK?
The production has already been paid for in full. The release of English Metal Slug 3 is confirmed. This is not a marketing survey to determine what quantity to order.  We only accept preorders when a production is secured 100%.

When is the cutoff date to preorder?
In order to place a preorder of English MS3, you must pre-purchase. You are welcome to preorder up until the day of release, at which time the pre-purchase will simply be considered a purchase.

Will my credit card be charged now, or when the game ships?
In order to be guaranteed a copy upon release, you must pre-purchase. Your credit card will be charged at the time of the pre-purchase.

Is this an official SNK production?
Absolutely. No hidden parties are involved concerning this production. All artwork, printing, and assembly will be completed by SNK of Japan.

Will the Neo-Geo.com URL be printed on the insert or manual?
No.

What about the case, will it be snap lock (new-style) or old style?
Snap lock cases.

Will there be an English gold warning label on the cartridge?
It appears that both the Japanese re-release, & the new English release lack this warning label. The rest of the material is what you would expect from SNK, nothing is substandard, or radically changed.

I'm wondering if the English version will have red blood or will it be censored?  I have heard that all American releases of Neo-Geo games are censored.  Is this true?
Japanese consoles (NTSC system) will play games completely uncensored, red blood and all. However, the English version console (PAL system) will censor certain games, like Last Blade, Samurai Shodown, & Metal Slug.

I already preordered the Japanese version elsewhere, will they be offering English MS3 as well?
This question is best directed to the party you preordered from.

Will the artwork of the Japanese re-release Metal Slug 3 be changed in any way?
No. The Japanese re-release will be an exact reproduction.

When will English Metal Slug 3 be released?
The production will be finished September 12th. The shipment will be sent via airmail and should arrive between September 16th to19th. Orders will be shipped to customers immediately. Once in stock, we plan to ship all US MS3 orders within 24 hours.

Will SNK produce English Sengoku 3?
Yes.
