Description

Fire damaged reproduction insert. Mint cartridge with reproduction cartridge sticker; gold warning label is SNK original, as are both PCBs. Near mint SNK original manual, near mint reproduction manual, and fire damaged SNK original snap case. Heat damage was mitigated by a clear protector case (not shown, disposed of).

Provenance: This copy was originally acquired through a collection purchase on November 10th, 2022. The prior owner lived in California and has since moved overseas. He deliberately burned his most prized neo games, "I tossed them into a box and lit them on fire." A childhood friend of mine also chose a difficult solution to appease his family when he agreed to quit playing a collectible card game by burning his entire magic card collection back in the 1990s, since his family considered the game demonic. This situation is similar for this tragedy.
